The Grampians group of APS Vic is once again hosting its well known and very popular Pomonal Native Flower Show. Taking place as usual on the first full weekend in October, it promises all the regular features as well as some extra delights.
There will be over 300 named native flowers on display with a special emphasis on the ‘Rutaceae’ family which will also be the theme of the show. There will be hundreds and hundreds of hardy, rare and collectable plants for sale in tubes, 6 inch pots and larger. There will also be book sales, botanical art sales and refreshments including gluten free.
Several native gardens will open over the weekend and entry will be free with entry to the show.
The show will be held in the new Pomonal Hall on the Ararat/Halls Gap Road Pomonal 3381 on the 7th and 8th of October 9.30- 5.00 and 10.00-4.00. Entry is $5 for adults and children are free. Contact Linda Handscombe 0407700843.
