Australian Plants Revealed
Highlighting Banksias and Unique Australian Flora

The Karwarra Australian Native Botanic Garden and plant nursery is set on two hectares at Kalorama in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges. It is an ideal place for an exhibition of original paintings of Banksias by Ian Wallace, with art and craft works featuring unique Australian flora and fauna. Being just 20 minutes drive from the Maroondah Federation Estate you could conveniently visit both.

Hours Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4.00pm
Saturdays and Sundays 1pm to 4.00pm
Closed on Mondays, days of Total Fire bans and extreme weather
Official Opening  2.00pm Sunday 23rd February 2020 at Karwarra

If extreme weather is forecast for 23rd February, the Official Opening will be transferred to Maranoa Gardens, 40 Yarrbat Ave, Balwyn, Vic

Being fully funded by Australian Plants Society-Vic, entry is Free

Comments and directions for the navigator: Enter the Kalorama Sports Facilities from 1196 Mount Dandenong Tourist Rd or Grange Rd. Turn left and drive around the oval to the Karwarra entry gate.
