Cambridge UK – Banksia Talk

19th July

For those travelling to the UK…

The Ecology of Banksia, Dryandra and other Australian Proteaceae, a talk by Kevin & Kathy Collins.

Registration essential

Kevin and Kathy Collins of Banksia Farm are the holders of the only complete collection of Banksia in the world (at Banksia Farm in the Great Southern Region of Western Australia), and are world authorities on the subject of banksias and dryandras, two of Australia’s most iconic genera.

We will meet at 10:30 in the Garden Cafe. The talk will start at 11 and will be held in the garden’s classroom. At 12:30 there will be a complimentary buffet lunch at the gardens (after all, it is the APS’s 30th birthday). After lunch there will be a garden tour led by the members of the CUBG horticultural team.

The lecture is free to members, but there will be a garden entrance fee of £6.
