If renewing APS Vic and/or District Group membership(s), or adding a subscription as an existing member
If you cannot see the subheading MembershipRenewal and, several lines below that, your membership(s) displayed with a green background, click on Login and enter your email address as the Username and membership number as the Password.
If your login credentials are correct, you will be redirected back to the membership page and your name will be displayed above, and current membership details beneath, the Membership Renewal subheading.
If you are an HLM (Honorary Life Member), or wish to add a subscription to your existing APS Vic membership, click on the optional-subscriptions link and do not complete the membership page, which will require that you select an APS Vic membership. Login Help

I cannot login
Ensure there are no spaces on either side of your Username and Password
I am not sure which email address to use
It could be that the primary email address recorded by APS Vic is not the one you normally use or is incorrect.
Try logging in using another email.
Ensure that you have correctly entered your email address and that there are no leading or trailing spaces.
If still unsuccessful, contact your district membership officer or the APS Vic membership officer, quoting your membership number.
I don’t know my membership number
Your membership number is printed on the front of your yellow Growing Australian envelope, and can also be requested from your district membership officer or the APS Vic membership officer, quoting your name and email.
Are you still a member?
APS Vic extends a grace membership period of up to 4 months after the end of your membership end date. This will typically be until the 31st of October.
Logins for expired memberships are removed.
If your membership has expired you can rejoin as a new member, or contact your district membership officer or the APS Vic membership officer, quoting your membership number, who may be able to retain your membership history.
Note that the page displays the first membership category for only one district group of which you may be a member, and this may not be the category you want. It does not preselect a second or third district group if you’re a member of more than one; you’ll have to select them yourself, as appropriate.
Incorrect Total Amount?
The displayed total amount does not add up to what I think my subscription should be
Note that the APS Vic fee and that of the Australian Plants journal have both increased for 2024, and your district group fee may have increased
Ensure that you have selected the correct APS Vic membership (single, household etc.)
Double-check any district group membership(s). Note that the page displays the first membership category for only one district group of which you may be a member, and this may not be the category you want. It does not preselect a second or third district group if you’re a member of more than one; you’ll have to select them yourself, as appropriate.
My email and/or postal address are incorrect
Email and postal addresses are mandatory, to communicate with you, provide your web login, and as your postal destination for the quarterly mailout.
The email address will be the one you used to login. If this is incorrect, update it on the membership page. In future you will login using the new email address.
Correct the postal address as appropriate.
If your addresses are blank or incorrect and you received the previous quarterly mailout in the post, contact your district membership officer or the APS Vic membership officer, quoting your membership number.
I am renewing on behalf of someone else and they don’t have an email address
Please contact your district membership officer or the APS Vic membership officer, quoting the third party’s membership number, and they will do this for you.
I am trying to pay by card and get an error message
If paying by debit card and there are insufficient funds in the account, the error message should reflect this.
You could have incorrectly entered your card number, expiry date or CVV number. Try re-entering. If the details are still not accepted and were entered exactly as they are on the card, try a different payment method.
Sometimes cached payment details can cause problems. Try again in a new private browser window (in Google Chrome this is called an “incognito” window), or in a different browser.
An APS Vic “pending” amount is showing against my card account
Your card account should only be debited once for each payment you commit. If there are any other “pending” APS Vic amounts showing on your account, these will generally disappear within 7 days.
When will my membership status be confirmed?
If paying by card, your membership will be set to confirmed as soon as click on Contribute.
If paying by delayed payment (EFT, cheque), your membership will be set to pending until your payment has been received and reconciled.
I want to renew for multiple years
Renter the membership page and submit as many times as you wish; each confirmed payment will renew your membership(s) for one year.
